I have really conflicting feelings about voice recognition software.

It makes my job so easy…the report comes up pre-typed and all I have to do is correct the errors and all the lines from that report are credited to me. It’s lovely. It makes my job so much easier.

But that’s just it, isn’t it? This is the program that might conceivably put me out of a job one day when/if it gets advanced enough to not need correcting.

Ah.

Hm.

Well.

I probably shouldn’t love it as much as I do.

-Medical transcriptionist by day, a loose-cannon cop who makes his own rules by night.

-Loves the color orange. Like a whole lot. This should be obvious.
-Also happens to really enjoy books, anime/manga (though I suppose not to the extent that I used to...), owls, video games, the entire horror genre in general, sci-fi, Slender Man, being insufferably pretentious, rainy days, and not having to go to school anymore.
-May or may not have a borderline unhealthy caffeine dependency.
-Hates whales with a burning passion as well as just about anything else that lives in the water and is really afraid of depth, mirrors, needles, and death.
